Harjit Singh Galhotra earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Bhopal India in 1972. He immigrated to Chicago USA in 1977. Harjit worked for as manufacturing design engineer in India and USA till 1992. Harjit then opened his own business in 1993. Harjit has been involved in Sikh affairs since he moved to Houston. He also Served as General secretary in Sikh Center GMC in 2000-2001. He Started working for SNC after that and was the 1 st General secretary in 2008 and Treasurer for some years till 2014. He also served as chairman of Architectural committee and worked hard with his team and architects to design of SNC gurdwara building for 3 years. He is also active member of the construction committee. All the initial construction at SNC facilities was supervised by Harjit. Since 2016 he is serving as Treasurer of Ex. Board of Directors. Harjit also represented SNC in Houston police advisory committee and Houston Public safety committee since 2003.
